Connecting your Athlee cameras to a permanent pool Wi-Fi gives you the best stability and performance, especially when using multiple iPads and cameras at the same time.
Make sure your Athlee cameras are powered on.
On your iPad, go to Settings → Wi-Fi and connect to the camera’s Wi-Fi network (default name: Athlee-Streaming or the name you’ve set).
In the Athlee app, go to the Camera Wi-Fi Management menu.
This is where you set up the Wi-Fi connection for your camera.
After configuring the camera’s Wi-Fi, go to the Local Wi-Fi Management menu in the app.
Here you can connect the camera to your external permanent pool Wi-Fi (access point).
Both the Camera Wi-Fi Management menu and the Local Wi-Fi Management menu include a built-in step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process on screen.
Important Notes
• Once a camera has been configured to connect to a permanent pool Wi-Fi, you will no longer see the camera’s own Wi-Fi network (factory default: Athlee-Streaming) in the iPad’s Wi-Fi list.
• Instead, you will only see the pool Wi-Fi, and that’s the network your iPad must connect to in order to access the cameras through the Athlee app.
• If you still see both the pool Wi-Fi name and the camera’s own Wi-Fi name on the iPad, it means:
1. The camera has not been successfully configured to connect to the pool Wi-Fi, or
2. The cameras were turned on while outside the range of the pool Wi-Fi.
• In these cases, either reconfigure the camera to the pool Wi-Fi, or simply turn the cameras off and on again within the pool Wi-Fi range. After that, only the pool Wi-Fi should appear on the iPad, and that’s the network you should use.
