How to use the charger plug cap

To protect the charger plug pins, always use the charger plug cap that’s mounted on the chassis of the Athlee Camera.

The charger plug cap includes an O-ring, and when it’s properly attached, it creates an IP68 seal that protects the pins from water — especially important when the camera is used in the pool area.

Here’s how to use it correctly:

1.        Align the arrows — make sure the arrow on the charger plug cap is aligned with the arrow on the charger plug.

2.        Connect the two pieces, and ensure that the barbs engage.

The barbs will hold the cap firmly in place while the camera is in use.

Important Notes:

‍

•        If the pins on the charger plug are wet, do not connect the charger. Wait until the pins are completely dry before charging.

•        Check the O-ring on the charger plug cap at least once a month to ensure it’s still intact.

•        If the O-ring is damaged or missing, contact sales@athlee.com and we’ll help ship a replacement.
