I connected to the Athlee network, but my iPad automatically jumps to another Wifi network

This is a common iOS behavior — and there are a few ways to solve it depending on your setup.

Why It Happens

When you connect directly to an Athlee camera’s Wi-Fi (e.g. Athlee Streaming), your iPad doesn’t get Internet access through that network.

Because of that, iOS will often try to reconnect to a known Wi-Fi network that does have Internet, like your Pool (Facility) Wi-Fi — usually within a minute.

Solution 1: Use a Pool (Facility) Wi-Fi With Internet

If you have a Pool (Facility) Wi-Fi that’s connected to the Internet:

1.        Set up your Athlee cameras to connect to that Wi-Fi.

2.        Then, connect your iPad to the same Pool (Facility) Wi-Fi.

Result: Your iPad and Athlee Cameras are both online, and iOS won’t try to switch away.

Solution 2: Stabilize a Direct Connection to the Athlee Camera

If you’re connecting directly to the Athlee camera’s Wi-Fi (i.e. not using a Pool Wi-Fi), follow these two steps:

A. Reconnect to the Athlee Streaming Network

•        When your iPad switches away from the Athlee Streaming Wi-Fi,

go back into Wi-Fi settings and manually select it again.

After doing this once or twice, iOS typically learns to stay connected to it — even without Internet.

B. Forget Other Known Networks (Optional but Recommended)

If your iPad continues jumping to other Wi-Fi networks (like your facility’s Wi-Fi), you can remove those:

•        Go to Settings > Wi-Fi

•        Tap the (i) next to the other network

•        Tap Forget This Network

Now the iPad won’t auto-switch to that network again unless you manually rejoin it.
