Use this guide if your iPad connects directly to the Athlee camera without an external or pool Wi-Fi.
Turn on your Athlee Camera and wait for 60 seconds for its Wi-Fi network to fully operational.
Open your iPad’s Wi-Fi settings.
Check for one of these networks:
Default: Athlee-Streaming (password: feedback)
Customized: If your team has set up a different Wi-Fi name, connect using the password your team provided.
Reset: If the camera’s Wi-Fi was reset, the name will be Athlee-**** (four random letters), and the default password is 12345678.
If you see your Athlee Wi-Fi network, connect to it and verify the camera stream in the Athlee app.
If your Athlee Wi-Fi does not appear after 60 seconds:
Turn off your camera.
Wait 30 seconds.
Turn the camera back on.
Wait another 60 seconds, then check your iPad’s Wi-Fi settings again for the Athlee network.
If restarting the camera does not help, reset the Wi-Fi:
Make sure the camera is turned on for at least 60 seconds.
Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds. Then release your finger, and the power button LED will start to blink.
Wait 2-3 minutes for the reset process to complete.
Check your iPad’s Wi-Fi settings for a network named Athlee-**** (four random letters).
Connect using the default password: 12345678.
If successful, reconfigure the Wi-Fi with your preferred settings by following the FAQ guide: “How to change your Wi-Fi name and password.”
Still No Athlee Wi-Fi?
If none of these steps solve your issue, contact Athlee Support for further assistance.
If you’re using a pool Wi-Fi setup (external Access Point), follow these steps:
Make sure the external Wi-Fi Access Point at your pool is powered and working.
Confirm it provides strong coverage in your pool area (signal strength ideally at least -65 dBm).
Check if your iPad or device can see and connect to this facility Wi-Fi.
If your cameras are not appearing on the facility Wi-Fi:
Turn off your Athlee camera.
Wait 30 seconds.
Turn the camera back on at a place where you have confirmed that the Pool Wi-Fi is strong and visible. Then, wait 60 seconds.
Recheck the Athlee app to see if the cameras appear.
If the restart does not help, reset your camera’s Wi-Fi settings:
With the camera turned on, press and hold the power button for 15 seconds until the LED begins blinking.
After 2–3 minutes, connect to the Athlee-**** network (default password: 12345678) to verify the camera is operational.
Once confirmed, reconfigure your camera to join your facility Wi-Fi following the FAQ guide “How to connect to an external Wi-Fi (Access Point).”
